Day 1

Arrival in Eritrea saturday night,
11.15 p.m. local time with Eritrean Airlines
transfer to the hotel

Day 2

A guided city tour of Asmara. You will see
all of the Italian art deco buildings and
enjoy the ambience of a "little piece of Europe"
in Africa - of course partaking in the excellent
coffee and pastries that Asmarinos are so
proud of.

Day 3

Day trip to Keren. In Keren we introduce you
to the magnificent Muslim city - its famous
market, brilliant textiles and colourful local
clothes. Visit the camel market and the holly
tree Mariam De Arit on which many hundred
years ago the Virgin Mary appeared.
Overnight stay in Asmara.

Day 4

The incredible descent from 2.400 m to sea
level; in just 3 hours you experience 3 seasons.
Be amazed at the changing landscape. Arrival
in the late afternoon to Massawa - the Ottoman/
Arabesque heart of Eritrea. Accomodation in the
Red Sea Hotel with plenty of time to enjoy the
famous local nightlife.

Day 5

In the early morning we will bring you to the
boats and you will set sail to the Dahlak
Archipelago. Dessei and Madote are 14 miles
from the port of Massawa.
Here you can enjoy your day by snorkeling,
fishing, scubadiving, swimming....or just relax
on the empty pristine beaches.

In the late afternoon we arrive Masaswa and
you will stay overnight again in the Red Sea Hotel.

Day 6

Today you can relax on Gurgusum Beach Hotel.
North of Massawa, fully equipped with sun loungers
and umbrellas, a beach bar and two restaurants.

For an additional price you can also visit the Dankalia
desert; the hottest region on earth. Here you can
view the varied wildlife of the plains and the lunar
landscape of the depression. This trip begins at 5.00
to get a full days experience of the desert.

Day 7

Today we move back to Asmara and in the after-
noon you will have time to buy gifts and local crafts
from the Asmaran markets and shops.
At 9.00 p.m. transfer back to the airport.
